Gable lights some Owlanterns!

Just a little note, during October, birdie-pumpkins appear throughout the levels. :]
There are four in each level. While I’ve yet to incorporate them into a game-wide achievement system, lighting all of them in a level triggers a confirmation icon, which you can see in the gif above, when the top-right pumpkin is lit. The data for the pumpkins is currently remembered and stored in the save game though, so it shouldn’t be that hard to implement in the future.
Also, it took a while, but I figured out what I’m going to do for web-hosting, which was one of the last major hurdles that ended up taking a fair amount of time and research. I’ll have an update out regarding that in the near future.
I held off on posting about my quest for web-hosting while I was still in the midst of gathering information, and that may have been for the best, because I ended up completely reworking my plans several times. It’s a fairly convoluted world out in web-host land. In hindsight I probably should have done a few more off-topic posts in the interim, just for fun, but I didn’t want to bombard you all with too many hummingbird posts in a row. 🙂
Anyway, I’ am still working towards the relaunch, and likewise I’m still finding new things to learn to aid in that goal.
